Sunbird Mountain Retreat is located in a forested wonderland on the back slope of Table Mountain, overlooking Orangekloof Nature Reserve. This 4-Star establishment offers unsurpassed peace, tranquility and safety combined with delightful accommodation and hospitality.

We offer both B &B and self-catering accommodation options. We serve scrumptious breakfasts in our sun-drenched breakfast room or on the patio in the forest. There is a sparkling swimming pool in an amphitheatre created by the surrounding mountains.

Ken was a mine of information and made us feel very welcomed. The retreat was restful but close to main facilities at Hout Bay. Should we visit South Africa again it would certainly be on our agenda.

Our host was very pleasant and the lodge very quiet. Sadly we could'nt swim in the swimming pool so busy we were.... The breakfast was very good!!!! A good address to recommend Martine LERBS
