Description
Daberas Guest Farm is located in the Lower Orange River Valley, also known as the lost valley of precious stones. The farm is extremely remote and rugged. Our campsite is only accessible with a 4X4.

We offer a spacious campsite and a self-catering house for groups. The surrounding scenery consists of mountains, dry river beds, rock formations, sand dunes and quiver trees. Our 4x4 track is well known and has featured in several outdoor magazines and also as a TV documentary. Guided tours must be arranged at the time of the booking.

Due to its remoteness, opportunities for solitude is offered but you could still be surprised by an encounter with large congregations of Namakwa and double-banded sandgrouse. Due to its rich biodiversity, two TV documentaries were produced here on location.

We share the western boundary of the Augrabies Falls National Park and the land is due to be incorporated into the park to provide range expansion for rare species. Here you will find leopards, fish- and black eagles, falcons, reptiles and snakes.
