It is also perfect spot to explore the Midlands Meander, The Amble or even Durban. If you are looking for quiet seclusion within easy reach of Pietermaritzburg, on your own or travelling with a large group, Acacia Bush Lodge is what you are looking for. Acacia Bush Lodge was previously called Torwood is a 26 bed bush camp about 10 minutes from central Pietermaritzburg and the Liberty Mall.

Comfortably accommodation is offered in six, three bedded and two, four-bedded air-conditioned cottages. Each is fully equipped with high-quality appliances including stove, microwave, fridge and a full range of quality cooking utensils and crockery. All linen is provided bring only your food. TV SABC is offered. Each cottage also has a private veranda and its own braai facilities, or picnic in the shade around our unique rock swimming pool.

Options and services we also offer the option of continental breakfasts delivered to your cottage. Each cottage is fully serviced excepting on Sundays. Secure, shady parking Bird walks over the 9ha property Firelighters, firewood and cool drinks are available during office hours. A variety of games including Volley Ball, cricket, swing ball and board games are also available. Group Bookings Acacia caters well for large groups as well as individual travellers looking for peace and quiet. We offer substantial discounts for group bookings. Graham Crowie and Erica Abrahams own the lodge.
