Kroon River Cottage is situated on the banks of the Vals River which flows through Kroonstad. The town offers an array of activities that include flea markets, a tea garden, fishing on the Vals River or at the Bloemhok Dam, various walking trails and game viewing in the Boskoppie Game Reserve. Kroonstad also serves as a good pit stop as it lies halfway between Johannesburg and Bloemfontein.
The lovely wooden Cottage is raised and consists of one bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath only. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, stove and griller. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and guests can enjoy their meals at the bar counter. The stylish lounge is air-conditioned and furnished with a double sleeper couch. A TV with DStv access is also available. Guests can relax on the balcony and enjoy the lovely view or make use of the braai facilities. |
