This quaint lodge is locate in the original farmhouse that once belonged to Piet Retief, giving it a historical flair surrounded by natural beauty.
The lodge has seven Luxury Suites that offer clean and modern accommodation in contrast to the rough and wild outdoors. Each room has an option of either a king-size bed or twin beds. There is an option to have inter-leading rooms, making it ideal for families. The rooms each have a TV with M-Net, tea and coffee facilities as well as a full en-suite bathroom. Four of the rooms have the added benefit of an outside shower. The lodge offers a restaurant and bar area for guests as well as an outside braai area and covered patio.
The reserve has an abundance of game including giraffe, zebra, eland and wildebeest. Guests can enjoy game drives on the reserve and are ensured a great experience. The lodge is in close proximity to other nature reserves where guests can experience the Big 5. |
