Description
For A Change Hotel is a centrally located hotel situated in Thohoyandou and is the ideal place from which to explore the surrounding areas. Thohoyandou means "head of the elephant" in tshiVenda. It is the former capital of the independent homeland and lies south of Venda on the main road between Louis Trichardt and the Kruger National Park. This is a land of lush vegetation, coffee and tea plantations, acres of sub-tropical fruit, tobacco and maize fields, with neat little rural villages that litter the landscape.

For A Change Hotel offers accommodation in comfortable double rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and a TV with DStv. The hotel also offers a beautiful outside lapa, where guests can relax in the Limpopo’s warm afternoon sun.

The hotel is located near to the Kruger National Park, Nandoni picnic site, Thathe Vondo Waterfalls and the Sacred Forest, Thohoyandou Stadium, Tshatshingo Potholes, Lake Fundudzi and more. The Big Tree, one of the local attractions, is the biggest baobab in the country and is located near the Sagole Spa in the north of Thohoyandou. The tree is over 3,000 years old, with a girth of 43 m.
