Mvubu River Lodge is situated within the Pongola Game Reserve, in Northern Zululand. The lodge is set on a hillside overlooking the Pongola River as it lazily meanders towards the Pongolapoort Dam. We cater for the discerning nature lover.
The Mvubu accommodation consists of twin and double thatched chalets, all with air-conditioning and verandas. The chalets have views of the river with basking crocodiles, hippo and water birds. Cool off on those hot Zululand days in the lodge’s private swimming pool and enjoy a drink at the Hippo Hole, our fully licensed bar.
Our rates include dinner, bed and breakfast or brunch, teas and coffees. Cuisine is typically South African with a variety of venison dishes prepared and presented in the boma or the open-plan dining area overlooking the river. |
