Description
Olienhout Lodge is a beautifully decorated lodge with exceptional views of the Vaal River and the surrounding mountains. It is situated in the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, a mere two hours' drive from Gauteng. It consists of three bedrooms (sleeping up to eight people) and two bathrooms. The lodge also has two braai areas as well as a fireplace for the cold winter nights. The kitchen is fully-equipped for a weekend away and all bedding and towels are provided (including electric blankets during winter).

The house is situated 100 m from the river on a mountain slope, and occasionally you can hear the call of the fish eagle.
