Description
Stork Cottage is a large home situated in Grotto Bay along the West Coast. The house offers comfortable self-catering accommodation ideal for a family or group of friends. It has five bedrooms and can accommodate up to nine people. It is only 10-minute walk from the beach.

The large house offers all modern facilities and is fully equipped. The top floor houses one bedroom and a lounge area with a TV. Downstairs, guests will find four more bedrooms, a bathroom and the living area. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with all cutlery and crockery provided. The kitchen leads onto a large dining room and outside, guests will find a large garden and a patio with braai facilities. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse the sand and sea water after your day at the beach.

Grotto Bay is a secure estate located right next door to the Grotto Bay Nature Reserve on the R27. The area offers beautiful beaches, which are wild and windswept. The area is alive with fynbos, fantastic bird life and plenty of hiking trails.

Stork Cottage in Grotto Bay Reviewed by Robert Shone, South Africa on . Spacious, comfortable beach escape Stork Cottage is the perfect place to escape the crowds and get away from it all. Located just 40 minutes or so from Cape Town, it feels a world away, despite Table Mountain peeking out at you on the horizon. The cottage is incredibly well equipped and very spacious, making it the ideal spot for a weekend retreat with a group of friends or extended family. A short walk away is the isolated cove of Grotto Bay, which boasts white sands and calm waters, as well as a very limited human population, so it'll leave you feeling well rested and ready to tackle the humdrum of reality in no time. Highly recommended!
