Cycad Beach Lodge is located 35 km north of Maputo. Guests will enjoy the thrill of crossing the Nkomati River at Marracuen by ferry, which operates from 6 am until 7 pm. The island is surrounded by the Nkomati River and the Indian Ocean, making the island an excellent fishing area. The tropical unspoilt beaches stretch for kilometres and is abundant in birdlife.
At the lodge, campsites are equipped with electricity and water, each with their own barbecue facility. The ablution blocks consist of eight showers, one bath and eight toilets. The ablution rooms provide quality and clean facilities with hot water and electricity. After a long, fulfilled day on the beaches, the bar and kiosk provide much needed refreshment, and guests are welcome to relax and keep cool by the poolside.
Inhaca Island and the surroundings offer many activities such as snorkelling, boat trips and fishing. Kids get to enjoy themselves at our volleyball and play park, while adults relax on the beach just a short walk from the lodge. |
