Amohela ho Spitskop Country Retreat is a 310 hectare country retreat located in the magnificent Eastern Free State Highlands, on the Clocolan/Ficksburg border. Nestled in a valley between Ficksburg and Clocolan, a visit to this privately owned reserve is an absolute must.
Dassie Guest House, the original sandstone farmhouse, has been lovingly extended and restored, with spacious free-standing garden bedrooms tucked away in the beautiful gardens. All the bedrooms are en-suite with either king- or queen-size beds, percale linen, heated blankets and a combustion of wood burning fires for those chilly Free State winters.
Accommodation includes scrumptious breakfasts and three-course candle-lit dinners.
Built from beautiful local stone, the cottages are large, luxurious and tastefully equipped for self-catering, with exceptional décor. Boasting huge open fires, big comfy couches, books, magazines and views to die for, this is the perfect getaway for the discerning guest.
