Description
Makinky Manzi means 'something different at the water' and that is just what we are, situated between the Losmountans, the extensions from the Magalies and the Pilanesberge. We are an extraordinary beautiful bushveld game farm, with a big variety of birds, wildlife, grasslands, hills, cliffs and the most fascinating waterfall. The waterfall features a large water hole filled with water lilies, where you can dive in and enjoy romantic sunsets, swims and sundowners.

Our accommodation is stylish with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, consisting of three large luxury tents and seven self-catering chalets. Aside from our stylish accommodation and game drives, we also specialize in weddings. Our Thabile Hall is quite big and suitable for any type of gathering, with a cash bar available. Ceremonies at the waterfall and reception in the Thabile venue as well as conferences, team building, festivals, church camps, family weekends, special birthdays, Sunday lunches, quad tracks, functions and year-end functions.

We love to treat our guests to farm-style breakfasts and dinners as per our menu options; on the porch of Thabile with a view of where the Magalies Mountains ends and the Pilanesberg Mountains begins. If you wish, you could enjoy a pure South African braai with hours of conversation, laughter, stories and jokes at the boma with the warmth of the fire against your face.

On a hot summer’s day, enjoy the relaxing effect of the Dwarsspruit flowing through the bushveld farm and forming a beautiful waterfall with a swimming hole beneath, where you can spend lots of hours swimming and enjoying picnics. During winter times we light the two fireplaces where wonderful memories and stories can be shared over a bottle of wine. We love to cater to a wide variety of needs. You are more than welcome to bring your own quads and enjoy a ride on the farm, with many natural obstacles to test your skills.
