Description
Greystone Lodge is situated high in the hills of Mpumalanga Province and offers quality accommodation and facilities on a private nature reserve at reasonable prices. Whether you are looking for a bed and breakfast or self-catering chalet, a location for a function or small conference, or just a quiet weekend of trout fishing, this is the place for you.

Situated just off the N4 between Belfast, Machadodorp and Dullstroom and within easy reach of the Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrim's Rest and the Kruger National Park, it is an ideal base for touring and a perfect location for a quiet break from the city for the busy executive or family.

Accommodation consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom self-contained chalets, as well as spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments with private balconies in the Main Lodge. All have extensive views over the property and the dam, and are fully-equipped for self-catering, complete with bedding and towels.

All chalets feature a fully-equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room, with a cosy log fire and quality furnishings. The bedrooms are furnished to an equally high standard and each chalet has its own gardens, deck and outdoor braai, for which firewood is provided at no extra charge. All accommodation is also serviced daily. The Main Lodge apartments offer a private balcony and gas fireplace, a large lounge with TV, and a separate, fully-equipped kitchen.

The Main Lodge building and attached function rooms feature a bar, restaurant, private function and conference room, as well as an indoor braai and lapa, all of which are available to guests. Advance booking of these facilities is essential.

Activities at Greystone Lodge include trout fishing, game and bird-viewing, scenic walks and trails, clay pigeon shooting, and golf driving. Horse riding and archery are also available at neighbouring farms, and the 18-hole golf course at Belfast is open to our guests for a small charge.

Tranquil and Relaxing Me and my fiance stayed at Greystone Lodge for the weekend, to get away from the stress of planning a wedding.<div><br /></div><div>The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home in an instant. Our unit were fully equipped and clean. An added bonus was the chalet cleaning by the staff and the unlimited supply of firewood.</div><div><br /></div><div>We had a lovely stay and feel well rested. We would recommend Greystone Lodge to anyone in need of some peace and quiet and would definitely visit again.</div>

There was no warning about the terrible road (R5000 for a new rim). Asked for breakfast - was told could not be accommodated due to staff shortage - 30 min later the place is packed with people having breakfast - with open tables?Venue was beautiful though.
