Marche Private Hotel is tucked away in the heart of a little town north of Kwambonambi. It is set in a beautiful tropical garden rich in trees, cycads and jade vines with an abundance of bird life. We are 1 km off the N2 and a mere two-hour drive from Durban offering the ideal stopover en route to Mozambique or Swaziland. We are also 45 km from the Umfolozi Game Reserve and Mapelane. The hotel has 30 comfortable air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms and TVs. It is the ideal base from which to explore the beauty which Zululand has to offer. We also have a swimming pool as well as a restaurant on site. We serve excellent meals which can be ordered from a variety of choices on our à la carte menu. Meals are served in the dining room and in The Dungeon restaurant. The Dungeon is our underground medieval dining house which is rich in character. The décor boasts high stone walls, long passages, rustic wooden furnishings and traditional entrance doors that add to the excitement of a medieval world. This area also serves as a great function venue for events such as birthdays and company gatherings. It is a unique one-stop venue for weddings as we have a church across the street, a lovely garden for photos, The Dungeon for the reception and accommodation followed by an outdoor breakfast.
