20 Houtbosch Bay is a self-catering holiday flat for two people. It is located in a complex in a small private nature reserve adjacent to the beach in Aston Bay.
Often referred to as the “Honeymoon Flat,” the unit offers a double bed and an en-suite bedroom with a shower only. We provide linen and towels, but guests need to bring their own beach towels. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer and a microwave, and guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table. The lounge area is equipped with a TV and DStv facilities, but guests need to bring their own decoder and smart card. The living room opens onto the deck which has a Weber braai and lovely sea views. The beach is 120 m away via a boardwalk.
The beaches in and around Jeffreys Bay and Aston Bay are safe and the water is warm, so swimming and water sports such as surfing are the main pastime. Guests can enjoy scuba diving, snorkelling, boat trips, fishing, sailing, canoeing and body surfing. Other sports include mountain biking, beach horse rides and a 9-hole golf course. Guests can visit the Shell Museum which displays shells from other countries and birders should visit the Kabeljous Estuary and Nature Reserve, Noorsekloof Nature Reserve and Seekoei River Estuary. |
