Carrickmoor Guest Farm offers comfortable accommodation in a rustic farm environment. The property is located just outside of Tarkastad. The accommodation is ideal for couples or individuals traveling through the area.

The base camp on Carrickmoor Farm offers accommodation in the form of four en-suite units. All of the units have electric lights, comfortable mattresses, rustic wooden headboards and limited kitchen facilities. Each unit has a microwave and tea and coffee-making facilities. Guests can relax in a communal lounge area which has a TV, bar facility and outdoor braai area. Breakfast is included in the rate and dinner is available on request. We provide all linen which we change on a daily basis.

Tarkastad is a typical Karoo town that is surrounded by the Winterberg Mountains. This area is filled with hiking trails and the Tsolwana Nature Reserve and Mountain Zebra National Park are worth a visit.
