Description
Snowy Owl Guest Lodge is situated in the small town of Burgersfort, nestled against a hill and is surrounded by the beautiful Maroni Mountains. The guest lodge is in the heart of the Platinum Developments, so if you are visiting Burgersfort, Steelpoort or one of the many platinum or chrome mines in the area, there is no better place to put down roots, whether for one night or a month.

Snowy Owl Guest Lodge offers great meals, a warm atmosphere and beautiful views set in the indigenous bush. The guest house offers accommodation in en-suite rooms, and fully equipped self-catering chalets. All of the rooms are air-conditioned.

There is a swimming pool for guests use, as well as a bar with a big-screen TV with hotel package DStv and a pool table. Laundry services can be provided on request. Secure parking on the premises is available. Breakfast, dinner and lunch packs are available on request.

Snowy Owl Guest Lodge is an oasis in the desert, and is an ideal place for guests that appreciate comfort, good food and beautiful surroundings.

Snowy Owl Lodge in Burgersfort Reviewed by Fred Scheepers, South Africa on . Not Satisfied This is undoubtedly the worst place I have stayed in Burgersfort. The reception was closed at 4pm when I am sure most business men would be booking in. I was directed through the kitchen into the bar area where the staff had no clue what was going on. When I finally got my room key and invoice (after asking twice) I had to ask for directions to the room!<div><br /></div><div>Now the room - a used earbud on the dressing table and sweet from Panarotti's. The cleaning equipment still in the bathroom, no coathangers in the cupboard.</div><div><br /></div><div>The road into the place was one big pothole - if I was driving a car instead of an SUV then I would have turned around and left (except that I had already paid).</div><div><br /></div><div>Long and the short of it, I will not be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone else.</div>
