Description
Ponta Mapalo House is a thatched-roof house situated only 11 meters from the soft sandy beach. The house offers accommodation ideal for a family or group looking for a private holiday house, fully-equipped for self-catering.

This spacious house is modestly furnished but equipped with everything you need for a peaceful self-catering holiday. The house comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom, one separate toilet, a kitchen and living room. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with all cutlery and crockery provided. There is even a small breakfast nook with a serving hatch to the living room. The cosy living room has ample seating and leads out onto a sea-facing patio or entertainment area. Adjacent to the patio is a braai area and to the other side is a small splash pool.

The village is less than three kilometers away, offering guest the opportunity to do some shopping and enjoy meals at the local restaurants and bars. The area offers a wide selection of water activities and is a very popular snorkelling and scuba diving spot.

Ponta Mapalo House in Inhassoro Reviewed by Megan Jones, Mozambique on . Brilliant place! My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely stay at Ponta Mapalo house for three nights. It's a good location for the market and getting around Inhassoro, as well as enjoying drinks and food at some of the other nearby lodges and bars. A very reasonable price as well for staying right on the beach and having the use of a fully equipped, beautifully laid-out cottage! There is also a lovely guy, Timoteo, who speaks fluent Portuguese and English, and he is on hand to sort out anything at the house or to help with organising island trips etc. Definitely worth checking this place out if you are a couple or family group wanting some where cheaper to stay in Inhasorro. We will be returning to Ponta Mapalo for our next visit to Inhassoro, from Vilankulos!
