Wagendrift in Glenwood (George) Reviewed by Martyn Freemantle, South Africa on . Great location, but quite basic The Wagendrift property is in a beautiful part of George and has amazing rolling lawns and open views. The owner is very nice and keen to help and pets are very welcome which is great. The cottage itself is clean and does have everything you need so if perfect for an overnight stay on route to somewhere else - the kids loved it. Anymore than that though and you you will expect a bit more at the price. The building is a bit tired and everything looks a bit homemade. Just a few additional attention to detail touches and a bit of an upgrade will make this into a 5 star place. Will we be back? Yes probably for our overnight stay on route, but only if there is nothing more reasonable.
