Accommodation consists of a double-storey flat with two bedrooms located upstairs. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower only, while the second room is furnished with four single beds and a sleeper couch. For extra comfort the beds are also fitted with electric blankets in winter. Located downstairs is the open-plan living area with a kitchen that is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a stove and oven, tea and coffee facilities and a washing machine. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table or relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with DStv. Parking is available behind a remote controlled gate and guests can cool off in the swimming pool.
Aliwal North has two hot mineral springs which have extremely high concentrates of minerals and is worth a visit. Guests can also visit various historic buildings like the Kerkplein Museum and the Garden of Remembrance. The Buffelspruit Nature Reserve and other reserves are also located nearby and offers guests a chance to view antelope, buffalo and some striking grassland scenery. |
