Mountain Rock Cottage is situated in Barberton which is nestled in the heart of the Makhonjwa Mountainlands in the De Kaap Valley; one of the oldest regions and the core of a proposed World Heritage Site.
The cottage has a main bedroom with a double bed and a children’s bed, and the second bedroom has a single bed. The loft area has twin beds and all rooms have built-in cupboards and linen. There is a boma equipped with a braai and fireplace supplied with wood. The children’s playground is close to the boma and there is also a cold outside shower to cool down on those hot days.
There are many activities to be enjoyed within the area such as some great birdwatching opportunities, self-drive 4x4 routes, hiking, fishing and mountain biking. There is also the chance of seeing small game such as kudu, impala and bushbuck on walks. |
