The Marula Bed and Breakfast in Summerveld Reviewed by Bert Grove, South Africa on . Not a pleasant stay We stayed there for a wedding. On arrival the owners did not seem interested in us and never gave us a welcome brief. We had booked a balcony room which we never got and more or less showed outselves to the only empty room.Their was no kettle in the room and their was a strong smell of sewer from the shower which made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep.Breakfast was ok but generally felt that guests were not all that welcome. Our room looked down onto a farmyard and the noise of grinding went on from early morning. Not worth the price we paid and definitely not somewhere we would recommend, especially foreign visitors. Its obviously a family home and the b and b is very much a sideline
