Description
Set at the foothills of the dramatic Helderberg Mountains, Zandberg Country House boasts beautiful views that drift across the winelands and over to the very tip of False Bay at Cape Point.

As you look up to the imposing mountains which rise on the far side of the Family Suite, framed by two ancient Oak trees, it’s almost impossible to believe that you’re just 15 kilometres from Stellenbosch and 12 kilometres from Somerset West. The setting could not be more perfect - vineyards and trees patter dappled shadows as they rock gently in the breeze while squirrels hoard food in small catches for later recovery. Our comfortable accommodation consists of 10 rooms including the Manor House and several independent suites and cottages that overlook the vineyards, beautiful gardens and the dam. Our rates include a full English and continental breakfast, along with a selection of Twinings tea and ground coffee.

The popular winelands restaurant, 96 Winery Road, is situated on our premises delighting guests with a superb dining experience in their warm, relaxing venue.

Zandberg Country House in Raithby Reviewed by Petra Zoska-Demme, South Africa on . Wonderful place! We stayed in the spacious, "old-style" family cottage. Two rooms with access to a wonderful verandah. Plus a huge living / dining / TV-Room (you won't really be using the latter). On the grounds - a great pool and beautiful trees. We can recommend this Estate wholeheartedly. Plus, of course the wonderful restaurant on the premises. The best meat I have had in a long time - and the best chips I have had in my lifetime (at 61 -that is something to say!)
