Description
The Country Lodge is set in lush natural surroundings.

The property consists of three separate sections, The Country Lodge House (20 sleeper) which is the main House in the property. The Country Lodge Cycad (20 sleeper) which is a sections of nine rooms all in close proximity to each other, and The Country Lodge Tree House (20 sleeper) which is a collection of rooms next to one another.

The Country Lodge House is a five bedroom house with two adjoining flats, its own swimming pool and braai, kitchen, lounge, dining room and bar area.

The Country Lodge Cycad is made up of nine rooms, all en-suite, with a kitchen, lounge, dining room bar and braai area, there is a swimming pool which is shared with the tree house section of the lodge.

The Country Lodge Tree House is made up of six rooms, all en-suite, with a kitchen, lounge, dining room, bar and braai area and there is a swimming pool which is shared with the Cycad section.

Country Lodge in Ramsgate Reviewed by Kim Consses, South Africa on . We enjoyed our stay at Country lodge. The property really has great potential as they are still in the process of re-vamping it. Really ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The manager was very friendly and had lots of information about the lodge, its history and the surrounding areas. My only concern was the bed was rather uncomfortable as the mattress was not a good quality and was so soft it felt like we were sleeping on the base. However, with all the improvements they are making I am sure that we will return to Country Lodge.
Country Lodge in Ramsgate Reviewed by Zelieka Saunders, South Africa on . The over stay was very good. The place is private and secluded which is an added bonus. The only things that bothered me was the fact that I made my booking well in advance, for 2x 2 sleeper units. And stipulated that we are 2 couples coming out stay there. We however were given single beds in both rooms. We were told that the double beds were used for the family rooms. That was a big disappointment. We could not even move the beds together as it is different heights and different mattress textures. Needless to say both married couples had to sleep separately from their partners. But besides that it was nice.
