Description
Cawood's Hope is a private game lodge offering self-catering or bed and breakfast accommodation just outside of Christiana in the North West Province of South Africa.

Quietly situated along the banks of the river, guests can escape for a weekend or holiday and enjoy the peaceful, safe and tranquil bush setting.

Accommodation comprises king-size rooms and twin rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and a verandah with seating and views.

If you are craving a typical South African braai, the lodge has braai facilities, which promise a relaxing evening under the stars. Guests are welcome to launch their boats off our jetty to experience 32 pristine kilometres of navigable water, whether for bird watching, fishing or skiing.

So come and experience the African bush with us, be it for a one night stay or for a holiday. It is the ideal bush getaway that's very accessible via the N12.

Cawood's Hope Lodge in Christiana Reviewed by kirsty collard, South Africa on . Not What we signed up for
We were offered exclusivity of the lodge but on arrival we found out that we were sharing the lodge with about 10 other people. We felt uncomfortable using their kitchen and had to work amongst their mess. We were not offer clean towels and had to request this. Our dustbins were not emptied until requested. We felt like we were pushed to one side of the lodge as not to be in anyone's way. The lodge is run by Anne and done very poorly. Bob the owner is very pleasant and accommodating and went out of his way to take the boys fishing, however this did not help make our stay better.

I am very disappointed with what we received.
