Description
Mgwalana River Lodge offers fully equipped self-catering accommodation ideal for couples or groups travelling to the Mgwalana area. The large house offers beautiful views of the Mgwalana River and is only a short distance from the beach.

This house has seven bedrooms spread over three levels. Each level has its own kitchen and a balcony or patio area. Guests can book the rooms individually for smaller groups and couples, or the entire house for a larger group. We offer group discounts for more than 12 people. The kitchens are all well equipped with cutlery and crockery provided.

The Mgwalana River Mouth offers guests the opportunity to enjoy birdwatching and boating. The beach is just a short walk away and offers a private and secluded retreat from the festive rush.

We had a great time, perfect for a summer holiday with a big family. The house needs some attention and we experienced a few snags, but we appreciate that our queries were attended to promptly. It was great to have the use of a boat, although we first had to have the motor fixed.
Mgwalana River Lodge in Mgwalana Reviewed by Andrew Hugo, South Africa on . An AWESOME spot for a family get-together! The house is HUGE! The views strain your peripheral vision to the max they are so expansive. The house had EVERYTHING we needed to chill.
