Soutklip Lodge is a comfortable and rustic house located 50 km outside of Bitterfontein and Garies. This is the ideal place to come and relax in total peace and privacy, away from the city stress. The house consists of four bedrooms, a private outside bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area leading onto a patio.
Bitterfontein is a village in Knersvlakte, the northernmost area of the Western Cape Province that lies 320 km north of Cape Town. The vegetation in the area consists of tiny succulents no more than 10 cm high that grow on the quartz plains. Guests can view these on hiking trails or by mountain biking.
The environment of the region consists of various landscapes from the flowing lines of granite hills in the Hardeveld to the big grassy plains of the Bushmanland and the Sandveld. |
