Description
We welcome people from all over to experience the hospitality of our unique Bed and Breakfast. Rooftop is situated in Barkley West, a small town on the banks of the Vaal River. This is also The main route to the Kalahari, a real tourist mekka. Our cabins are made of solid rock logs, giving it a unique feeling. Our guests can relax with all the luxuries that goes a three star rating. This includes safe parking, braai-facilities, air-conditioned rooms, wireless broadband internet, automatic starting generators, a cool patio-area and lots more to enjoy. There is a home bakery on the premises, where a sample is always available. Our main focus is to be the a real haven for the tired traveller, giving excellent service and a wonderful and long lasting memory of our place.

Rooftop B & B in Barkly West Reviewed by Tanya Gouws, South Africa on . Average accommodation We stayed here for one night. We were very disappointed to learn that the pool has been closed up. We promised our kids an afternoon of swimming. Barkley West is quite far out, very few eating places and grocery shopping. We managed to pick up some things at the Spar and braai at the guest house in their veranda area.
Rooftop B & B in Barkly West Reviewed by Melanie McIntyre, South Africa on . Clean, comfortable rooms with a much needed air conditioner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well equipped with a small bar fridge as well. One complaint however, is that the rooms have no windows at all and the bathroom windows opened onto the kitchen (so we obviously couldn't use them). There was also no extractor fan in the bathroom. Dinner was also a problem because the one decent pub in town looked very grotty and dirty. Maybe offering dinner or a self catering option would be an idea.
