Ubizane Zululand Tree Lodge is situated in the Ubizane Wildlife Reserve. Set in the cool, whispering tranquillity of a fever tree forest, the Tree Lodge is a truly special retreat where you will be accommodated in luxurious stilted chalets.
Enjoy the quiet lounge, observation deck, and a sunny pool area where you might be visited by a family of warthog, a shy red duiker, or a pair of purple-crested loeries.
Each of our 24 luxury Tree Lodges include an en-suite bathroom, a king-size double bed with insect nets, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a private balcony with enchanting views into the surrounding fever tree forest. We have guards on foot and no alarm.
Ubizane Wildlife Reserve boasts a variety of game, including white rhino, giraffe, wildebeest, and most species of antelope. You can view the game from the comfort of equipped game viewing Land Rovers, on foot for a more thrilling encounter, or on horseback for a wonderfully unique experience.
Adjacent to Ubizane Wildlife Reserve is the renowned Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, the oldest in Africa where the Big 5 roam the bush. There is plenty to see in the immediate vicinity of the reserve, with game viewing being top of the list.
Meals are served in the boma - an outdoor covered dining area that overlooks the fever tree forest and waterhole. At night, log fires are lit creating an enchanting, romantic, African bush atmosphere and the pan-African cuisine offers a variety of dishes in buffet style. |
