Description
Peter's Place is nestled in the crimson shadows of the Kamiesberg mountain range and offers four comfortable en-suite bedrooms and one stone cottage. Let the Namaqualand explosion of fauna and flora entice you to an enchanting and colourful visit.

Enjoy walking, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, bird watching or simply unwind in a very tranquil and serene setting. At night, guests can relax by open fires under a carpet of stars that seem to be close enough to touch, while good cuisine and friendly company will soothe the stress and weariness caused by city life.

Peter's Place in Kamieskroon Reviewed by Elsa Dixon, United States of America on . Basic, homely accommodation Beautifully situated farmhouse on the road to the Skilpad Reserve with lovely views and fascinating rock formations. Accommodation and food very basic and comfortable, but you have to be satisfied with absolutely no frills.
Peter's Place in Kamieskroon Reviewed by Guy Houwens, South Africa on . AWESOME! Seldom does one in life have the privilege of meeting and sharing a short part of your own life with the genuine people of our country. This soon became apparent with Ernest and Stella who run Peters Place, a simple, clean and welcoming stopover for 2 nights. Wholesome food, definitely not cordon bleu, but really good, with a twinkle in Stella’s eye when I put the cumquat in and chewed! The request for home-made soup delivered with aplomb with home-made bread, top class. Oom Cornelius (owner of the farm) who shares the meals and chats around the fire, telling life stories, is a genuine SA gentleman who gives the most enduring of hugs, and knows the area history and roads like no other. To own a property of such staggering beauty can only be exulted by the kindness shared by these 3 people, and will definitely be on the list for any future visits to the area. Engage and enjoy SA treasures, as these folk are just that. Thank you. Guy & Gill Port Elizabeth
