Die Kloof is a wonderful self-catering retreat from the hurry of city life for family or friends. Die Kloofhuis is a carefully restored historic building with foot-thick walls, thatch roofs and traditional stable doors. Beautiful old oak trees line a veranda and outside fireplace with magnificent views down the kloof and across the farm and valley toward the town of Ceres and the Hex River Mountains in the distance.
The three-bedroom cottage features a fully equipped farm kitchen as well as its expansion with modern conveniences. Accommodation is offered in one double and two twin rooms, while the lounge and kitchen have been furnished in antique farm-style furniture and come with luxurious linen and soft furnishings.
The veranda boasts an eight-seater table as well as plenty of leisure seating around the fireplace for long evenings under the stars with special people and a view out to the mountains of the kloof. |
