Gratitude Horse Farm and accommodation is 267 hectares in extent, and located a short distance from the charming and quiet town of Riversdale.
The two self-catering cottages and the guest house is situated in beautiful surroundings with horses and other farm animals roaming free at the foot of the Langeberge mountain range. This self-sustaining farm grows a variety of organic produce such as fruit, vegetables, and herbs. The guesthouse is open to all the guests of the farm for breakfast and dinner. We offer slow food. We produce ourselves the most of it from scratch/seed. Food by us is a work of love and art, it is poetry. We have a wide variety: french, German and Italian cuisine, as well as Mexican, Greek and Japanese specialties. Raw, vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat dishes are prepared. We produce beautiful breads, pizzas, and fresh pasta. Almost all the cooked food is done on our wood stove.
The horses as well as the other animals on the farm act as our teachers and guides and implement our daily lives with their grace, wisdom and beauty. Our beautiful farm is the perfect environment to relax. A generous land where guests can find the rhythm and rejuvenation of one's self again.
